• Spot clean spills immediately with water and mild detergent.
• Natural cleaning: Sprinkle a mix of baking soda and coarse salt, leave for 1–2 hours, then vacuum. Baking soda disinfects and neutralizes odors, while salt lifts dust.
• Professional cleaning: Every 2–3 years or for heavier soiling. Dry cleaning preserves wool quality and natural dyes.
• Storage: Fold carefully and add a sachet of dried lavender to naturally protect and scent the wool.
• Air out your rug: On sunny days, lightly expose it to sunlight for ventilation.
